1. Overview of the institution

One of the founding members of the Group of Eight, University of New South Wales is known for its leading teaching and research. The university has some of the strongest industry links, and it receives grants not only from government but also through their links with industries.

2. Location and facilities

The main campus is located in Kensington, Sydney. The other two large campuses are College of Fine Arts, that is located in the suburb of Paddington and University College at the ADFA is situated in Canberra. 

The CBD Campus is located at the heart of Sydney and houses the Law Faculty.

The institute of Languages is located at the Randwick Campus in Randwick.

Faculty of Medicine's Kirby Institute is located at the Cliffbrook Campus in Coogee.

The UNSW sports clubs are all located at the David Phillips Campus. This is situated near the main Kengiston campus.

The Manly Vale Campus is home to the UNSW Water Research Laboratory.

The Canberra Campus is located at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA).
