Skill Shortages In Latvia
A lack of skilled workers is threatening Latvia’s competitiveness and longer-term economic development.
Many positions created by the government with EU funding are unfilled, certainly there is a mismatch between job-seekers and available vacancies. The social partners and the government agree more should be done to improve skilled employees.
